Billionaire-David Harding Explains One of Biggest Worries Of the Super Rich in the World

David Harding, a 55 year old British billionaire philanthropist has revealed the biggest anxiety and concern held by many of the world’s richest people, reports the Independent.

Harding who is worth an estimated $1.5 billion according to Forbes is the CEO of Winton Capital management, an investment management firm.

“I like nice things in life but of course a source of anxiety probably to many rich people is that you don’t want to spoil your children by bringing them up in an atmosphere of intense privilege”, he explained during an interview with the Evening Standard.

The late Duke of Grosvenor, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor also expressed the same kind of anxiety when he was alive and insisted on having his son, Huge Grosvenor, Britain’s youngest billionaire working very hard throughout his life: “He’s been born with the longest silver spoon anyone can have, but he can’t go through life sucking on it.”

Harding, a graduate of Cambridge University who began his career as a stockbroker before starting his company celebrated his 55th birthday by taking his two sons for a walk in Yorkshire Dales.

He has given away millions of pounds to educational organisations including a £5million donation to London’s Science Museum for its mathematical gallery.
