The hosts of the 2017 Billboard Music Awards have officially been announced!
Vanessa Hudgens is joining Ludacris to host the annual show, which airs live from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, May 21.
The High School Musical alum took to social media on Friday to celebrate the announcement of her upcoming gig, writing “I’m so unbelievably excited to host the @BBMAs this year with @Ludacris!”
Hudgens will be replacing Ciara, who filled the role last year. This is Ludacris’ fourth straight year co-hosting the annual event.
“I’M BACK FOR YEAR NUMBER 4 so I must be doing something right!” he shared on Instagram.
A star-studded lineup has also been slated to perform, including: Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Drake, Florida Georgia Line, Halsey, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Sam Hunt and The Chainsmokers.
Cher is set to take the stage as well for her first live award show performance in over fifteen years. The “Believe” hitmaker will be honored with Billboard’s ICON award.
The Chainsmokers lead the pack of nominees with 23 nods, while Drake and Twenty One Pilots follow with 22 and 17 to their name. Rounding out the high-earners are Rihanna with 14, The Weeknd with 13 and Beyoncé with 8.
